Danae Gil de Rubio

After breaking her femur at age 6 Danae was left in a body cast. Growing up in Vermont, she spent her life dancing, swimming, playing sports, and being very active all while trying to regain strength in her right side. "I tried Pilates for the first time when I was 19 and instantly fell in love. I had been working for years on my alignment, while struggling with my knee and hip pain. Within weeks my entire body felt better and I was able to continue running, biking, hiking, and swimming pain free. I loved working on my mind body connection and was amazed by how much it changed my body" Danae kept practicing Pilates three times a week. After finishing Esthetics school, becoming a licensed Esthetician, and working in the wellness industry she decided to become a Pilates instructor. "After fifteen plus years of Pilates I still look forward to every session and couldn't imagine my life without it. Wellness and a happy body are so important to have and understand. I only hope that I can give that to every client I see so they are able to live a healthy, fun, and fulfilled life" She began her personal practice with Stott and then moved on to complete Balanced Body's comprehensive program as well as her barre certification. She continues her advanced Pilates education with multiple workshops yearly; including pre and post natal, gate alignment, and many more.
